Psalms 29:2 – Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness

St. Andrew’s is a Jesus centered, traditional Episcopal church with worship based on the 1979 Book of Common Prayer. The primary focus at St. Andrew’s is the Sunday Eucharist. It is a time for the congregation that reveals the Holy Spirit in small and subtle ways.

Music has always been important to the members of St. Andrew’s. The choir adds a wonderful musical addition to our 10:00 am service and holiday events. The majority of the music comes from the 1982 Hymnal with supplements from the Alleluia II book a contemporary sound. The classic music stands the test of time because of the great voices of the choir and congregation. St. Andrew’s has a bell choir that helps “ring-in” different services and holidays throughout the year. Several members of St. Andrew’s have also formed a folk group, the St. Andrew’s Minstrels. The folk sound is just another way to worship the Lord.

The church calendar is a great road map that guides us throughout the year. The changing seasons in the church help to focus our faith. St. Andrew’s follows the liturgical year beginning with Advent I.
